Linda: I seldom read blogs. In fact, I have limited time to read anything because of the demands of my job, my writing and other interests. Too often, I find myself only reading what I need for researching articles or revising educational courses ... or to educate myself about emerging trends in technology or educational concepts.
I like your blog so far. It's very conservative and simple so everything is focused on what you and your fellow bloggers have to say.
The Industrial Age is over ... and there is now a need to move forward in education -- especially those of use teaching in distance education.
The following youtube presentation by the University of Colorado points out that our children must learn to be critical thinkers and independent scholars in order to meet the challnges they will face that are impossible for us to even conceive. Take a look:
